Properties

E.G.S. currently holds a 300km² High-Grade Copper-Zinc-Silver property in Nunavut and a Nickel-Copper-Zinc-Silver-Gold property in the Joutel region in Quebec.

Additional information can be reviewed below:

Epworth Property Summary

The Epworth Property is located in Nunavut Canada, approximately 500 km north of Yellowknife, is accessible by float plane, and consists of two land permits covering approximately 30,000 square hectares (300km²).

Previous work on the property by Noranda Exploration in 1994-95 revealed stratiform Cu-Pb mineralization occurring in NNW trending zones, parallel to one orientation of thrust faulting in the region. Rhonda Mining Corporation conducted an exploration program in 1996.

Grab samples from these programs yielded up to 61.2% Cu and 5600 gpt Ag, as well as 19.22% Zn, 3% Cu, 810 gpt Ag & 1.86 gpt Au. Historical drilling consists of five diamond drill holes, three of which are located on the two permits, and two drill holes located approximately 90 metres south of the permits. Two DDH’s were drilled by Noranda and three by Rhonda Mining, yielding up to 18.4% Cu & 302 gpt Ag over 0.3m. Host lithologies are primarily dolomites of the Rocknest Formation as well as shales to siltstones.

Joutel Project Summary

The Joutel Project is located in the Joutel mining camp, in the central portion of the Abitibi Greenstone Belt, approximately 150 kilometres north-northwest of Val d’Or and 5 kilometres southeast of the past producing Poirier Base Metal Mine. The project is accessible by highway from Amos or La Sarre and along recent active logging roads. The Joutel Project consists of 6 claims covering 336.5 hectares and are situated in Poirier Township.

The primary target for the summer 2018 exploration program is an untested VTEM anomaly, discovered in a 2011 VTEM survey by Bold Ventures Inc.

Previous drilling at similar anomalies on the property to the west – ten holes in total – has yielded values in core of up to 0.83% Ni over 3.7m, 17.42gpt Ag (DDH # 4) and 1.03gpt Au, 5.83gpt Ag, 1.19% Zn & 0.46% Cu over 0.15m (DDH # 1-71).

Drill core lithologies include fragmental rhyolites, sodium-depleted, potassium enriched dacite and basalt, and sodium depleted pyroxenite, with hydrothermal alteration and carbonate present. A 43-metre-long cored interval of pyroxenite was reported in Noranda DDH # 4.
